Privacy Policy

Your health is personal. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. In short: we never sell your data, and we never share your health information with advertisers.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Identity and contact: email address, and if you sign in with Google, your first name and profile photo.
• Consumer health data: your quiz answers and daily tracking (age, height, weight, sleep, energy, mood, hot flashes, symptoms, goals), and your meal journal.
• The content of your conversations with Camille, the AI coach.
• Payment data: handled exclusively by Whop, our payment provider. Menolys never receives or stores your card details.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, cookie identifiers, logs.
• How you found us: the link that brought you to Menolys (for example, which of our posts or articles), kept in your browser for up to 30 days and saved with your account when you sign up. It contains no health information and is never shared with advertisers.

3. Why we use it

• To provide your personalized program, tracking and coaching (the service you asked for).
• To process your consumer health data and your conversations with Camille — only with your explicit consent, given separately at sign-up. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
• To send tips and offers by email — only if you opted in. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• To know which of our posts and articles actually help women find Menolys.
• For security and fraud prevention.
• For advertising measurement (Meta) — only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. See our cookie policy.

4. Who we share it with

We use the following service providers, only to run Menolys:

• Supabase — database and authentication (data stored in the European Union).
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Resend — sending emails.
• Anthropic (Claude) — generating Camille's answers. Your messages and the context needed to answer are sent to Anthropic for this purpose only.
• Open Food Facts — food search in the meal journal (only the search terms you type).
• Whop — payment and subscription processing.
• Meta — advertising measurement, only with your consent. We send Meta that a sign-up or purchase happened (with a hashed email), never your answers, symptoms, goals or any other health information.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent. We may disclose data if required by law.

5. International transfers

Menolys is operated from France. Your data may be processed in the European Union and in the United States by the providers listed above, under appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. It is deleted when you delete your account, or after 3 years of inactivity. Some billing records may be kept longer when required by law.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access, correct, download or delete your data — delete your account anytime from your profile ("Delete my account"), or email contact@menolys.com.
• Withdraw your consent to health data processing (by deleting your account) or to marketing emails (unsubscribe link or profile setting).
• Opt out of advertising cookies: click "Decline" on the banner or clear your cookies.
• Depending on your state (for example California, Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia), you may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We honor these requests for all users, wherever they live. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
• If you live in the European Union, you can also contact your data protection authority (in France: the CNIL, cnil.fr).

To make a request, email contact@menolys.com from the address linked to your account. We respond within 45 days at the latest. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

8. Consumer health data

We collect consumer health data only to provide and personalize your plan, with your consent. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties other than the service providers above, who process it on our behalf. This section is our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for the purposes of the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar state laws.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, restricted access, row-level security on the database) to protect your data. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Children

Menolys is for adults only (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app before they take effect.
